Stephanie’s passion for dance started at the age of 7 when she herself joined CATS Theatre School. As her love for the performing arts increased, she went on to begin dancing lessons at Eve Trew’s in ballet, tap, theatrecraft and modern.
As a pupil at the dance school, she was selected for various opportunities including a solo dance in our show, lead roles within the theatre school performances, two metro centre adverts, IDTA gala performances and local pantomimes. In her more senior teenage years, she was offered the opportunity to assist in class as a student teacher.
At the age of 18, she moved to Liverpool and completed professional training at Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA), qualifying with a Diploma in Performing Arts: Dance. During this time she performed in various showcases as well as being selected as a dancer for BBC’S Liverpool Nativity.
In her early 20s, she returned to the Eve Trew School of Dance in order to complete her IDTA Associate Ballet, Freestyle and Street teaching qualifications. In addition she ventured into the fitness world qualifying in various programmes including Zumba, Piloxing and FitSteps.
She is a well-loved teacher at Eve Trew School of Dance where she takes classes in ballet, tap, theatrecraft, musical theatre, street dance and freestyle. She enjoys working with the children and encouraging them to strive for success. She has a passion for innovative choreography and has produced some excellent dance routines for recent shows. Her success in this area has resulted in the dance school being selected for four consecutive years to provide students to perform original routines in a show alongside “Strictly Come Dancing” stars Katya Virshillas and Pasha Kovalev.
Stephanie is truly committed to ensuring every class she teaches is educational, safe and most importantly fun. She feels it is a privilege to be able to help a child express themselves through dance and develop their confidence.
